Free outdoor movie series returns to Wilmore Centennial Park in South End

CHARLOTTE, NC – South End’s free Movies in the Park series returns to Wilmore Centennial Park! For three weekends in August and September, residents, neighbors, and visitors of all ages are invited to enjoy free films and themed snacks in South End’s only public park.

August 9 – 27 Dresses (PG-13)
September 6 – X-Men (PG-13)
September 20 – Shrek (PG)

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, bring a blanket or chairs, grab some nearby takeout, and enjoy the onsite snack vendors as the movies play.

Located a block from Camden Road, Movies in the Park will create the perfect end to a day of exploring everything the neighborhood has to offer, from surrounding restaurants to brick-and-mortar retail stores.
