Artful Dodger, which just missed out on the top spot on the UK singles chart with Re-Rewind (The Crowd Say Bo Selecta) featuring Craig David and Movin’ Too Fast featuring Romina Johnson in 1999 and 2000 respectively, will play at The Sub Rooms in an event starting from 8pm.
Support will be provided by Chaka.
Originally featuring songwriters and producers Mark Hill and Pete Devereux, Artful Dodger are also known for Woman Trouble featuring Robbie Craig and Craig David, which reached number six in 2000, and Please Don’t Turn Me On featuring Lifford, which reached number four that year.
The following year, they hit numbers 11, 20 and six with Think About Me featuring Michelle Escoffery, It Ain’t Enough versus Dreem Teem, featuring MZ May and MC Alistair, and TwentyFourSeven featuring Melanie Blatt respectively.
The act is now made up of MC Alistair and DJ Dave Low.

Doors open at 7.30pm for the 18+, standing event.
