With regard to China’s contributions to World War II, Ravi said, “History gets told by those who told it the best. Every country, every culture needs to speak for itself. We’ve lived through an era where Hollywood, America and West have an outsized role in telling the history of the world. It is beginning to change. China should make movies which focus on its contributions on WWII, and popularize them to a global audience.”
