Good Morning Britain is reportedly on the brink of job cuts amidst a significant cost-cutting movement of ITV’s Daytime offerings.
Teams and on-screen talent are set for a crucial briefing this afternoon, according to The Sun.
It is reported the meeting will lay out the latest on the proposed changes.

Inside sources suggest a potential merger between the GMB and ITV News crews, which could see the programme produced by ITN.
Heavyweights such as Susanna Reid, Ed Balls, and Kate Garraway are expected to retain their positions despite the cost reductions.
These cost-saving measures at ITV come hot on the heels of earlier announcements to trim down on popular soaps.
A new approach will be adopted from January 2026, with Coronation Street and Emmerdale airing condensed half-hour instalments every weeknight.
During last week’s AGM, while fielding questions about potential acquisition talks, ITV chairman Andrew Cosslett was compelled to defend the company’s share value.
He stated: “If someone approaches the company with an offer to talk, that’s something we have to take seriously because we’re representing your interests, and it’s very clear from the room that there is a high level of interest in the share price and the value of the business.
“So we have to accommodate any requests and conversations that take place. But our current strategy is very clear and it’s making the best of what we have in combination.”
