Grand Ole Opry honors Music City Rodeo with star-packed Tuesday show

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Grand Ole Opry is celebrating Nashville’s first-ever PRCA-sanctioned rodeo in true country fashion with a special Tuesday night show honoring the Music City Rodeo.

As part of the Opry’s 100th anniversary celebration, the May 27 event will feature a rodeo-themed lineup including Opry member Vince Gill, country legend Moe Bandy, and rising stars Kaitlin Butts, Wyatt Flores, Marcus King, Lukas Nelson, and Jenna Paulette.

The performance pays tribute to Nashville’s debut PRCA Pro Rodeo, taking place Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Bridgestone Arena.

In addition to musical performances, rodeo fans can expect special appearances by PRCA athletes competing in the upcoming events, bringing an authentic western flair to the night’s festivities.

This marks a unique collaboration between two of the country’s most iconic traditions — professional rodeo and the Grand Ole Opry — as Music City continues to expand its cultural legacy beyond music.
