Greater Noida To Host UP International Trade Show 2025, Focusing On MSMEs

Greater Noida, May 2 (KNN) The Uttar Pradesh government is set to display various industries and products at a four-day trade fair this September, aiming to attract investors as part of its broader strategy to transform into a USD 1 trillion economy within the next four to five years.

At the UP International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025, scheduled for September 25-29 in Greater Noida, the government will highlight twelve key sectors: small businesses, agriculture and allied industries, energy, environment, health, education, electronics, defence, tourism, transport, electric vehicles, and finance.

“To propel the state’s ‘vocal for local’ vision, the UPITS will promote exports and connect local producers with global buyers, and cement UP’s position on the global investment map,” stated a senior government official, as reported by BS.

This marks the third edition of the trade show, which last year featured Vietnam as a partner country and attracted buyers from 72 nations across Europe, Africa, North America, Latin America, and Oceania.

The event, being planned by 35 UP government departments, will feature 48 participants exhibiting products and services across a 50,000 square meter space.

Key participants include the UP State Industrial Development Authority, Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, and UP Expressway Industrial Development Authority.

“The prime focus will be on the MSME sector since it is a major job creator and contributes immensely to the industrial output and exports,” the official emphasised.

Reflecting this priority, more than 30 percent of the exhibition space will be allocated to micro, small, and medium enterprises.

Products with geographical indication and those from the One District One Product programs will be prominently showcased. Regional specialties such as Agra’s petha, Malihabad mangoes, Moradabad brassware, and Banarasi saris will be featured to appeal to a global audience.

The state government anticipates establishing business partnerships in several promising sectors including health care, food processing, electronics, defence manufacturing, agricultural technology, and renewable energy during the trade fair.
