A file photo of Delhi airport. NEW DELHI: SpiceJet on Thursday issued a travel advisory warning passengers of possible delays due to bad weather in Delhi. In a post on X, the airline said, “Due to bad weather in Delhi (DEL), all departures/arrivals and their consequential flights may be affected. Passengers are requested to keep a check on their flight status.”Meanwhile, Delhi minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said the government was fully prepared to deal with the rising Yamuna water level after heavy rainfall. “We are continuously monitoring the situation. The situation is currently under control,” he told ANI.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) also informed commuters that the approach road to Yamuna Bank Metro Station was inaccessible due to the swelling river, though the station remained operational with interchange facilities available.At 10am Thursday, the Yamuna’s water level at the Old Railway Bridge was 207.47 meters — unchanged since 8am.
