Hilton India Launches an industry-first consumer campaign focusing on Housekeepers on International Housekeepers Week
On the occasion of the International Housekeepers Week (10th – 16th Sept), Hilton India today announced #YouAreTheSparkleAndShine, a heartwarming digital campaign and a first-of-its-kind initiative aimed at shining the well-deserved spotlight on the tireless efforts of the housekeeping teams in the hospitality industry, marking the first time that the industry’s housekeeping heroes are being celebrated with a dedicated digital campaign.
Whether it’s ensuring hygiene and sanitation or adding a personal touch to hotel rooms, housekeepers are dedicated to ensuring that guests have a comfortable and memorable stay. However, despite their hard work, the housekeeping staff often remain the unsung champions behind picture-perfect hospitality experiences. Through a dedicated video spotlighting the innumerable touchpoints created in a hotel by housekeepers, the campaign also invites consumers from all over India to share their favorite memory / picture of how efforts of a hotel housekeepers made their stay special.

Through interactive engagements such as contests, polls, and videos, the aim is to wholeheartedly recognize and appreciate the hard work of these often-overlooked hospitality heroes. As part of the contest, Hilton India, in collaboration with Little Black Book, a lifestyle recommendation platform, to invite consumers across cities to share their heartwarming and memorable stories with the housekeeping staff. Whether it’s the welcome experience or their unique gestures of going beyond service, the most inspiring stories will get featured on LBB and selected entries will get surprise gift vouchers to be used at any Hilton hotel in India. The contest will be run on the social media handles of LBB between 10th to 16th September, 2023.
