Holmes of Men’s Lacrosse Named Peggy’s Scranton Athlete of the Week

Junior Kyle Holmes of The University of Scranton men’s lacrosse team surpassed 100 career points in Saturday’s 22-1 win over Juniata College and has been named the Peggy’s Scranton Athlete of the Week for the period ending March 23, 2025.

This marks Holmes’ third Peggy’s Scranton Athlete of the Week award in his career.   

This past week, Holmes tallied 5 goals in two games. He was the co-leading scorer in Saturday’s game against Juniata with 4 goals, all scored in the first half. Holmes currently has 102 points on 90 goals and 12 assists.

Holmes and the Royals will hit the road to face Susquehanna University this Wednesday, March 26th at 4:00 p.m. for another conference contest.
