The recently held Delhi elections saw the BJP unseat the Aam Aadmi Party, winning 48 seats in the February 5 polls. The AAP lost the mandate, winning just 22 of the 70 seats.

Preparations are currently underway for the formation of the BJP government in Delhi, with the choice of chief minister set to be announced on Wednesday, followed by oath-taking on Thursday.
