The film will be broadcast tonight (September 14) at 6.45pm on Film 4, perfect for those seeking a comfortable Sunday evening indoors. Reports previously emerged that work had commenced on the Devil Wears Prada sequel, scheduled for release next year to mark the original film’s 20-year milestone.

Alongside fresh talent, several recognisable stars will return including Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. However, the original masterpiece, adapted from the beloved 2003 novel of the same title, continues to be a cherished favourite amongst devotees who describe it as the ideal “comfort” viewing.

Boasting an outstanding 75% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, supporters persist in sharing their opinions despite the film’s earlier release.

One viewer penned: “The Devil Wears Prada – A Timeless Classic The Devil Wears Prada is an absolutely incredible, iconic film – one of those rare movies that feels like it was made specifically for its audience.”
