India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an updated forecast highlighting widespread rainfall across many regions of the country due to active monsoon conditions. A low-pressure system over Central India, coupled with cyclonic circulations and a western disturbance, is expected to bring heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, and Delhi/NCR in the coming days. Let’s take a closer look at the region-wise forecast from September 5 to September 10, 2025.

IMD continues to monitor these systems closely, and timely updates will be crucial for agriculture, travel, and urban planning in the coming days.
