In London .. Special session on Jordan to attract $4 billion in annual investments | Business
Ammon News – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will hold a special session on Jordan on Tuesday, May 13, titled “Jordan: a gateway to investment in US$ 50 trillion of global trade,” with the participation of Minister of Investment Mothanna Gharaibeh and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan.
According to the bank’s statements, the session will be held in London on the sidelines of the bank’s annual meeting. It will highlight Jordan and its economic modernization plan, which aims to attract $4 billion in investments annually. Jordan offers significant opportunities in terms of key infrastructure, services, high-value industries, access to abundant young talent, advanced technological infrastructure and raw materials.
This session will provide valuable insights and foster deeper engagement with potential investors. In addition, it will highlight the benefits of accessing a global market of 1.4 billion customers and global trade worth US$50 trillion through Jordan’s free trade agreements, which enhance its strategic position for international trade and investment.
Gretchen Biery, Director for the Eastern Mediterranean Region at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, will also participate as a speaker in the session.
