In Pictures: Dior launches ‘Lucky’ pop-up at Harrods

Dior has launched a new pop-up boutique within Harrods in London’s Knightsbridge to showcase its ‘Lucky’ collection. The ‘house of cards’ floral-themed pop-up focuses on personalising bags and other luxury items with charms and motifs.

Several customisation workshops are available for bags, shoes and other accessories – adorned with lucky symbols such as stars, bees and shamrocks.

The ‘Lady Dior’ bag is reinvented with new variations on the luxury fashion house’s cannage pattern, such as ‘Star’, ‘Clover’ and’ Heart’, combined with a matching chain, or customised with a variety of codes and letters “for more refinement”.

The ‘Dior Groove’ and ‘Dior Toujours Vertical’ are magnified with elegant bag jewellery, while flowers bloom in embroidery or prints on the ‘Lady Dior’ and ‘Lady D-Joy’ bags, as well as the ‘Dior Book Tote’, “highlighting the virtuoso expertise of the artisans”.

Extending this experience with Snapchat, an augmented reality mirror allows customers to try on a pair of ‘30 Montaigne’ sunglasses. Star signs can be selected to further explore the botanical world of ‘Dior Lucky’.

There’s also a tarot card game and a fortune teller on certain days of the week, “lending magical finishing touches to the space”.

Described as “a celebration of good fortune, blending heritage and modernity”, the Harrods pop-up is running from 21 July to 27 August 2025.

Reaffirming its presence at Harrods, Dior is also expanding its ready-to-wear offer to become the largest brand area. Opening on 24 July, a new space will showcase high-end gowns, evening wear and fine jewellery.

There will also be two private suites offering “an intimate, bespoke haven”, while a permanent ‘Dior Lady Art’ installation will be opening later this year, which will “honour the emblematic bag through contemporary creativity”.
