Actor Dhanush’s Idly Kadai is all set to release on October 1st. Ahead of the big release, the makers announced that the film’s theatrical rights have been acquired by Red Giant Movies, an Indian film production and film distribution company founded by Udhayanidhi Stalin. Unlike the other times, Udhayanidhi’s name wasn’t mentioned in the announcement poster. This time, a new CEO had been appointed, his son, Inban Udhyanidhi.

Inban Udhayanidhi, great-grandson of former DMK Chief, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunadhini, grandson of current Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, and son of actor and Tamil Nadu’s Deputy CM Udhyanidhi Stalin, is set to lead the company.

Udhayanidhi married Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi in 2002, and together they have two children: Inban and Tanmaya.

Iban, who is now 20 years old, first came to the limelight, after he was signed by Indian football club Neroca as a defender. As per TOI the footballer also stated that Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid played a key role in him taking up football seriously.

“I admire Ronaldo’s aggression and dedication. I like how Real Madrid’s midfielders Luka Modric and Casemiro work hard. I would watch all Real Madrid matches and eventually end up watching their rivals’ matches as well,” he said.

However, much before he entered the entertainment industry films, controversy chased Inban. In 2023, Inban, found himself in a tricky situation, after pictures of him and his female companion, cozying up went viral on social media. While no official clarification about this was published from him, his mother Kiruthiga Udhyanidhi posted a cryptic tweet which read “Her tweet, short as it is, is refreshing nevertheless. “Don’t be afraid to love and express it. It’s one of the ways to understand nature in its full glory,”. This indicated that she stood by her son, and indirectly condemned those who leaked it without permission.

Inban’s father, Udhayanidhi, made his debut as an actor in 2012 with Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, after starring in a handful of films, he shifted his focus to politics.
