International Conference on Sustainability & Digitalization held at Jamia Hamdard

New Delhi, 29 September, 2022: Department of Management, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has organized a two-day “International Conference on Sustainability and Digitalization: A Business, Economic and Societal Perspective” on 28th to 29th September, 2022.

In the inaugural session, the keynote speaker Prof. N. Kishor Narang highlighted the issues of climate change, energy security, clean environment, greenwashing and global warming. He also emphasized the need for developing new approaches toward sustainability through digitalization. Prof. Reshma Nasreen, Dean, (SMBS and Students’ Welfare) and Dr. Syed Nadimul Haque, HoD Management also expressed their views on the said topic.

This two-day event had different sessions and tracks that witnessed several paper presentations from different disciplines with broader them of sustainability and digitalization. Around 200 scholars, industry experts and faculty members of different organizations presented their research papers. Two plenary sessions were also organized in the conference.

Dr. S.S. Negi (IFS) Vice Chairman RDMC (Government of Uttarakhand), Dr. Basheerhamad Shadrach (Director, CEMCA), Prof. Padmakali Banerjee, President (SPSU, JK Cement), Mr. Shailendra Singh (SustainMantra), Dr. Hishmi Jamil (Tata Steel), Mr. Dipankar Ghosh (BDO, India LLP), Mr. Rajat Srivastava (JACOBS), Prof. Pramod Pathak (ISM, Dhanbad) were also present in this event.

Valedictory address of this conference is delivered by H.E. Dr. Manoj Nardeosingh, Secretary General, AARDO and Mr. S. S. Akhtar, Registrar; Jamia Hamdard thanked guests and participated on behalf of Host University.
