When KAXE rolled out the new 2025 programming, including Headwaters and After Dark, keeping it local was a big focus, as was leaning into what we do best. And for the music team, we love to listen to and talk all things music!
At the end of each month, the three of us — Malachy Koons, Dan Gannon aka DJ Dang, and me, Music Director Kari Hedlund — get together in the Monthly Music Recap. We chat about our favorite songs and albums released that month, music we’re looking forward to, or just songs we are feeling.
