Jackie Chan & Jaden Smith’s Karate Kid Movie Now Streaming for Free After New Sequel Debuts in Theaters
Jaden Smith’s Karate Kid movie arrives on a new streaming platform just as Karate Kid: Legends hits theaters. 2010’s The Karate Kid is now streaming for free on Tubi.
The 2010 martial arts drama by Harald Zwart was the fifth movie in the Karate Kid franchise, with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan in starring roles. The movie tells the story of 12-year-old Dre Parker (Smith), originally from Detroit, as he moves to Beijing, China with his widowed mother, Sherry, (Taraji P. Henson) and makes an alliance with the kung-fu master Mr. Han (Chan) to confront a neighborhood bully. The film was a loose remake of the 1984 original film that launched the franchise, and was originally set in a different continuity.
