Chennai/Jamshedpur, Oct 26: Vijay Singh, President of the Masters Athletics Association of Jharkhand, has been elected as the Vice President of the Masters Athletics Federation of India (MAFI). The election took place during the MAFI meeting held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai, on Sunday.
Congratulating him on the achievement, MAFI General Secretary Devid Premnath expressed confidence that Singh’s experience and leadership will further strengthen Masters Athletics in India. “MAFI will continue to grow stronger under its dedicated leadership team, and Vijay Singh’s active involvement will play a significant role in promoting Masters Athletics nationwide,” he said.

S. K. Tomer, General Secretary of the Masters Athletics Association of Jharkhand, described the election as a proud moment for the state. “On behalf of the entire Jharkhand Masters Athletics fraternity, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Vijay Singh and wish him continued success,” he said.
