Jupiter partners with CSB Bank to launch RuPay Credit Card with UPI and cashback rewards

Jupiter, a digital-first money management platform, has announced the launch of the Edge+ CSB Bank RuPay Credit Card in collaboration with CSB Bank. The new offering combines UPI compatibility with credit card functionality, the company said in a statement.

The Edge+ card supports UPI transactions via the RuPay network while retaining standard credit card capabilities. It offers over ₹50,000 worth of annual rewards with no joining or annual fee. Cashback is available on a range of categories, including 10% on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Myntra, and Nykaa, and 5% on travel portals like MakeMyTrip and Yatra. A flat 1% cashback applies to most other eligible spends.

Available exclusively through the Jupiter app, the card is positioned as a rewards-focused product with integrated expense tracking. Rewards can be redeemed flexibly across statement credit, bill payments, cash, and Digital Gold.

The card’s launch is in line with Jupiter’s broader goal to build a customer-centric payments ecosystem. The company also provides debit cards, SIPs, mutual funds, and other financial services aimed at simplifying personal finance for young, tech-savvy users.

In a separate development, Scapia, a travel-first fintech platform, in partnership with Federal Bank, has launched the Scapia Federal RuPay Credit Card—a dual-network card that combines the convenience of UPI, credit access, and travel rewards in a single offering.

This new credit card enables users to carry out both RuPay and Visa transactions across online, offline, UPI, and international channels, while managing all spends under one credit limit and consolidated monthly statement.

This is one of the first credit cards in India to integrate UPI functionality directly via the RuPay network while retaining the global reach of Visa, Scapia mentioned.
