Khushi Kapoor paired Rimzim Dadu’s showstopper ensemble with diamond jewellery from Jagat Jewels.

Khushi Kapoor turned muse for Rimzim Dadu at Hyundai India Couture Week in association with Reliance Brands, an initiative by FDCI.

Khushi Kapoor closed Day 7 of Hyundai India Couture Week, as Rimzim Dadu’s muse. Inspired by Gujarat’s Banjara tribes, Rimzim’s collection OXYNN was enhanced with heritage and luxurious jewellery pieces from Jagat Jewels.

Making a sparkling statement in Jagat Jewels’ Maharaja Manor collection, Khushi Kapoor paired her showstopper couture piece with a heart-shaped emerald choker, framed by a constellation of fancy-cut diamonds and set in 18K gold.

Exuding radiance and opulence on the runway, Khushi celebrated Rimzim’s design aesthetic and Jagat Jewels artistic allure with elan.

Sparking bold romance and regal elegance on the runway, Khushi further enhanced her style quotient by pairing the choker with the three-line strand of mixed fancy-shaped diamond necklace.

This timeless jewellery is an ode to modern sophistication and masterful craftsmanship envisioned by Jagat Jewels. The collaboration with Rimzim was the perfect ode to modern sophistication where timeless pieces told a story and every jewel was a poem set in gold.

“We believe that jewellery is an extension of identity and artistry. Being part of Rimzim Dadu’s showcase gave us the opportunity to celebrate Indian craftsmanship in a modern light, a perfect complement to the strength and innovation of the collection,” says Gursimran Chadha, founder, Jagat Jewels.

Khushi Kapoor looked like a modern-day princess warrior in the contemporary couture piece designed by Rimzim Dadu. Inspired by the intricate links of traditional payals, the showstopper ensemble was reimagined through Rimzim Dadu’s signature pre-oxidised metal technique.

Every motif on Khushi couture ensemble was sculpted to resemble weathered, heritage metal—aged, burnished, and rich with character. Khushi’s look took over two months to craft, with each detail designed to echo the raw elegance of Banjara-inspired oxidised jewellery, elevated into a modern couture statement.

Rimzim Dadu’s OXYNN collection didn’t replicate the Banjara aesthetic but celebrated their spirit, craftsmanship, adornment, and ethos. The collection highlighted their mirrored textiles, oxidised jewellery, and layered silhouettes and Rimzim beautifully abstracted these elements into her own design vocabulary. The silhouettes ranged from sculpted lehengas and engineered blouses to metallic pre-draped saris, modular bombers, and sharply tailored suits.

Hyundai India Couture Week in association with Reliance Brands, an initiative by Fashion Design Council of India will culminate with a grand finale showcase by JJ Valaya on July 30.
