Kia India reports 19.3% sales growth with 25,525 units in March 2025, ET Auto

Kia SyrosKia India reported strong sales growth in March 2025, achieving a 19.3 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase in domestic sales and a 15.6 per cent rise in quarterly sales. The Indian unit of South Korean auto major sold 25,525 units domestically in March 2025, a significant jump from the 21,400 units sold in March 2024.

The company’s quarterly sales also saw a 15.6 per cent increase, reaching 75,576 units compared to 65,369 units in the same period last year. The company’s successful launch of the Kia Syros contributed significantly to this growth, alongside consistent performance from its existing models like Sonet, Seltos, and Carens.

Annual sales for FY25 reached 2,55,207 units, a 4 per cent increase over the 2,45,634 units sold in FY24.

The Sonet led domestic sales, contributing 30 per cent of the total sales volume. The Seltos followed closely with 26 per cent, the Carens with 22 per cent, and the Syros with 20 per cent. Kia also reported exporting 26,892 units in this period, demonstrating its expanding global reach.

The newly launched Kia Syros has quickly gained traction in the Indian market, with 15,986 units sold since its introduction.
