Kia India sales surge 23.8% to 25,026 units in February, ET Auto
Kia Syros sales Kia India reported a 23.8% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) sales increase in February 2025 on the back of strong demand for its vehicles, including the recently launched Kia Syros.
According to the company’s statement, it shipped 2,042 made-in-India vehicles to over 70 countries. Its recently launched Syros model saw 5,425 units sold in February, contributing significantly to the company’s overall sales growth. The company has received over 20,000 bookings for the Syros.
The Sonet and Seltos models remain Kia’s bestsellers in India. These models sold 7,598 and 6,446 units, respectively, in February 2025, while the Carens model saw sales of 5,318 units.
Luxury car segment sales
In its luxury car segment, it sold 239 units of the Kia Carnival Limousine. The company expects that its reliance on cutting-edge mobility solutions will help expand its presence in the market.
“Kia India continues to grow steadily, driven by strong customer demand and our commitment to delivering cutting-edge mobility solutions. The overwhelming response to the Syros reaffirms our belief that Indian consumers seek the best in automotive excellence, with 46% of buyers opting for top variants,” said Hardeep Singh Brar, senior vice-president and head of sales and marketing at Kia India.
“At the same time, our core models (Sonet, Seltos, and Carens) continue to witness strong sales numbers, highlighting their enduring popularity across segments,” he added.
