King Teemhy expands AVA Nexus with new media deal, audio studio, education partnership
Celebrated entrepreneur and cultural visionary King Teemhy, also known as Oluwadamilare Timilehin Nathaniel, has announced the expansion of AVA NEXUS, his flagship entertainment and creative agency, through a series of strategic moves aimed at transforming Africa’s creative economy.
Leading the initiative is a strategic media partnership set to position AVA NEXUS as a cross-continental force in music, media, and talent development. The company, already recognised for its cutting-edge entertainment ecosystem, will now scale its content distribution and artist support initiatives through high-impact collaborations across Africa and the diaspora.
But that’s just the beginning.
King Teemhy also unveiled the launch of a state-of-the-art audio mixing and mastering studio in partnership with industry leader Milla Mix, a move that will bolster AVA NEXUS’ production capacity and set new standards for audio engineering quality across Nigeria and beyond.
In addition, a formal partnership is underway with the prestigious Academy of Sound Engineering in Johannesburg, with plans to introduce A-Level certification programs in audio technology. Discussions are being led with Mocke Van Veuren, founder of the academy, to bridge the gap between African music talent and world-class technical education.
“This isn’t just growth — it’s evolution,” said King Teemhy. “We’re aligning AVA NEXUS with visionary partners who understand the future of sound, education, and creative distribution. These steps ensure we’re not just making music — we’re building legacies.”
With headquarters in South Africa and a strong operational base in Nigeria, AVA NEXUS has become a creative powerhouse, managing talent, producing visuals, and influencing the direction of Afrobeats culture. The new partnerships now extend the company’s footprint into studio production and formal education, deepening its role in Africa’s entertainment pipeline.
The expansion also coincides with the return of King Teemhy’s record label, WorldFamous Entertainment, which recently signed its first artist, Nextee, a rising Afrobeat act. It follows Teemhy’s acclaimed tenure as Chief Operating Officer at MiraTek Global, where he helped drive Nigeria’s first smart capsule housing project.
These developments position King Teemhy — and AVA NEXUS — at the forefront of a movement to redefine Africa’s creative future through strategic collaboration, education, and innovation.
