Kohima Lotha Officers’ Football Team after winning the 9th edition of the Kohima Lotha Hoho Inter-Colony Father’s Football Tournament 2025 on September 9.

The Kohima Lotha Officers’ Football Team emerged as the champion of the 9th edition of the Kohima Lotha Hoho Inter-Colony Father’s Football Tournament 2025, held at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, on Tuesday.

In the final match, the Kohima Lotha Officers’ Football Team defeated PAUN United 1-0.
Earlier, in an exhibition match, the Kohima Lotha Students’ Union (KLSU) defeated the Lotha Students’ Union 2-0, while PAUN United Youth was adjudged the winner of the Youth Penalty Shoot-out.

Former Member of Parliament and former KLH Chairman, Khyomo Lotha, graced the closing ceremony as the special guest. In his address, Lotha lauded KLH officials for their tireless efforts in organising the tournament with the aim of bringing the community closer and fostering friendship among its members.

Later, the Kohima Lotha Officers’ Football Team contributed its winning cash prize to the KLH in support of the upcoming Kohima Lotha Hoho 50th Jubilee celebration, scheduled to be held in November 2025.

The closing ceremony was chaired by KLH Treasurer, L. Yanremo Mozhui, while the vote of thanks was proposed by KLH Chairman, K.N. Mhonthung Lotha.
