The collaboration is designed to create a holistic travel experience for Indian tourists by combining curated tour packages with financial and travel-linked privileges.

The signing ceremony took place on 22 August 2025 in the presence of senior representatives from all partner organisations. The partnership is expected to improve Korea’s visibility as a travel destination for Indian tourists while offering integrated benefits that span finance, travel, and tourism. The campaign will be promoted across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Surat, Jaipur, Pune, and Kolkata through a digital-led outreach strategy.

Under the initiative, Yatra will curate exclusive holiday packages showcasing Korea’s leisure and industrial tourism offerings. Shinhan Bank India will introduce a customised savings product with travel-linked benefits for customers planning trips to Korea. Korean Air will extend privileges such as lounge access at Incheon Airport and provide promotional support, while KTO will lead strategic execution to align the initiative with its vision of positioning Korea as a preferred destination for Indian travellers.

Speaking on the occasion, Myong Kil Yun, Regional Director – India & SAARC Countries, Korea Tourism Organization, said: “Through this strategic partnership with Shinhan Bank India, Korean Air, and Yatra, we emphasise the importance of the India market for KTO. Through this collaboration, Yatra will curate exclusive packages that showcase not only South Korea’s leisure offerings but also its dynamic industrial tourism experiences. We believe this initiative will open up exciting new avenues for Indian travellers, making South Korea more accessible, engaging, and inspiring than ever before.”The collaboration is expected to enhance connectivity, broaden tourism experiences, and deliver greater value for Indian travellers, marking a significant step in bringing South Korea closer to the Indian outbound market.
