KTM 390 ADV to launch in India on January 30: What to expect? – Bike News

It’s been a long wait, but the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450’s rival to the KTM 390 Adventure is finally here.

It’s finally confirmed, KTM India is all set to launch the much-awaited 390 Adventure S on January 30. The two-wheeler confirmed the timeline on social media. The Austrian-based company had earlier showcased the 390 Adventure S and the 390 Enduro R in India Bike Week in 2024.

KTM 390 Adventure: What Is It?

The KTM 390 Adventure S is set to be manufactured at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant. Built on a lightweight steel trellis frame, it features a fully adjustable WP Apex suspension with front forks and a rear mono-shock. The bike rolls on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels.

Inspired by KTM’s Dakar Rally bike, the 390 Adventure S sports a high-mounted front fender and vertically stacked LED headlamps, giving it a rugged, race-ready look. It comes equipped with disc brakes at both the front and rear. The 390 Adventure S also features the same digital colour TFT display as the 390 Duke, along with electronic aids like multiple ride modes, traction control, and a dedicated Rally Mode for optimal performance on challenging terrains.

KTM 390 Adventure: Engine Specs

The 390 Adventure is powered by the 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which belts out 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
