The end of summer is almost here, and Lewis-Palmer High School is preparing for an exciting 2025 fall sports season. Registration is officially open for all athletes.
Online registration began July 14 and must be completed and approved for student-athletes to be eligible to participate in tryouts and practices. Physicals must be valid through the entire season of participation — those expiring mid-season will require an updated exam.
Registration deadlines vary by sport:
- Football and boys golf paperwork is due July 31.
- All other fall sports must register by Aug 7.
First practices begin on:
- Monday, Aug 4 for football and boys golf.
- Monday, Aug 11 for all other fall sports, including cross country, field hockey (at Palmer Ridge), gymnastics, boys soccer, softball, boys tennis and girls volleyball.
Volleyball tryouts are scheduled for Aug. 11–12. Athletes must attend both days to be considered for a roster spot. Final team selections will be announced after tryouts conclude.
The varsity football team opens its season at home on Thursday, Aug. 28 against Rampart, and don’t miss the cross country team compete at the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede on Friday, Aug. 22 at the Norris Penrose Event Center.
Tryouts for cheerleading and POMS have already concluded for the 25–26 school year. For questions, families may contact coach Jordan Cochran (cheer) at jcochran@lewispalmer.org or coach Jessica Stokes (POMS) at jstokes@lewispalmer.org.
