The Easter holiday weekend is here. You most likely have friends and family coming into town for the holiday, and after all the cooking is done, you most likely want to take them out on the town to do something fun.

Dani Lacour will be playing live Friday night at T-Doug’s Cajun Cuisine restaurant inside its brand new location located at 15976 Highway 171 just North of Gillis, Louisiana. The new restaurant features a huge dance hall with a stage and lights, with a big dance floor. Dani and her band will perform live from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Larry the Cable Guy will be performing at L’Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles on Saturday night, April 19, 2025. He will be inside the event center. This hilarious night of comedy will get underway starting at 8:00 pm.

Three Thirty Seven will be playing live inside the Golden Nugget casino resort in Lake Charles at the Blue Martini both Friday and Saturday nights. The band will get started at 8:00 pm each night and play until midnight both nights.

Movies Under The Stars continues Friday night. This week’s friendly event takes place at the Bulber Auditorium on the campus of McNeese State University on Ryan Street in Lake Charles. This week’s movie, Peter Rabbit, will take place starting at 6:30 pm.

Several Farmers’ Markets are going on Saturday morning in the area. One in Lake Charles located on Biblo Street by the old courthouse, one in Moss Bluff on Highway 378, and one in Westlake at Millers Super Saver on Sampson Street. All three markets’ hours are from 8:00 am to Noon.
