Livingston Manor/Roscoe School District hold town hall meeting about merger

LIVINGSTON MANOR – the Livingston Manor and Roscoe Central School Districts will hold a town hall meeting at the Livingston Manor school at 6 p.m. on January 9 to discuss the formation of the newly established school board.    The event will allow residents, families, and community stakeholders to learn more about the merger and the formation of the new seven-member school board.

The session will be hosted by John Evans, Livingston Manor, and Roscoe Central School superintendent, along with Dr. Robert Dufour, district superintendent of Sullivan BOCES.

The meeting will provide an overview of the unification process of establishing a new board. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and share their perspectives on this important transition.

“This is an exciting time for our community as we come together to build a unified school district,” said Evans. “We encourage everyone to join us, stay informed, and help shape the future of the district and the new board.”

The meeting will also highlight upcoming milestones in the merger process and provide information on how residents can stay involved.
