Love Is Blind alum “Sparkle Megan” Walerius revealed that she experienced a miscarriage.
“Sadly, this isn’t the announcement I had hoped to share,” Megan, 36, wrote via Instagram on Friday, October 15, sharing a photo of 15-month-old son Brooks wearing a “Big Brother” shirt. “Yesterday was Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, and while I wasn’t sure I wanted to share this part of our story, it felt like the right time.”
She continued, “A few weeks ago, we experienced a miscarriage. And while I know just how incredibly common pregnancy loss is, knowing that doesn’t make it any less heartbreaking.”
Megan announced during the season 9 reunion in October 2025 that she had secretly welcomed her first child with new partner Paul Wegman in the year since wrapping production. (Megan had called off her pod engagement to Jordan Keltner ahead of their would-be wedding day.)

“We were so excited about growing our little family and giving Brooks a sibling,” Megan continued on Friday. “We had already started imagining what life with two little ones would look like, and it’s hard to let go of something you were already so looking forward to, but I also have a lot of trust in my body, and I find comfort in believing that perhaps this was its way of telling me something wasn’t quite right.”
Megan and Paul, who celebrated Brooks’ first birthday in July, are still hopeful to expand their family further one day.
“I’m choosing to trust the timing of it all, even when I don’t understand it, and remain hopeful that another little soul will find its way to our family when the time is right,” the Netflix alum noted. “[I am] sharing this because I know so many women and families have walked this same road, often quietly.”

Megan met Paul at a wellness retreat just four months after calling off her Love Is Blind engagement, telling Us last year that pair “immediately clicked.”
“When you know you, you just know — that’s how it was immediately with Paul,” Megan exclusively told Us in November 2025. “I think with Jordan there were still some things that I had doubts about. Paul and I — we know how to communicate. We’re emotionally available with one another. We can have fun. We can also sit on the couch and do nothing and not talk.”
