We had earlier announced that Lyca Productions will be bankrolling Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut, which will star actor Sundeep Kishan in the lead role. On the occasion of the Mazaka actor Sundeep’s birthday on Wednesday, Lyca Productions released a special making glimpse from the film, which is tentatively titled JSJ 01.
Making glimpse of Jason Sanjay-Sundeep Kishan film out
Lyca Productions made their entry into film production with the 2014 blockbuster film Kaththi/ Khakhi Aur Khiladi starring Vijay in the lead role. Now, it looks like life has come full circle with the production banner bankrolling the actor’s son, Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut. The makers released a BTS glimpse from the film, which stars Sundeep Kishan in the lead role. Amid rumours that Lyca Productions will be shutting shop due to a financial crisis, the latest update has reiterated that the banner is very much in the business.
The glimpse shows the behind-the-scenes from the sets of what appears to be an action film. Sundeep is shown performing stunts for his 31st film. S Thaman is composing the music, and KL Praveen is the editor. A release date for the film is yet to be announced. The rest of the cast of JSJ 01 are expected to be revealed soon.

Sundeep Kishan on Mazaka
Sundeep Kishan was last seen in the Telugu film Mazaka, which is a romantic comedy and available on OTTplay Premium to stream. Some of his other outings are also available to watch, namely the anthology film Kasada Tabara, and action-drama Michael, and Maanagaram/ Nagaram directed by filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj in his debut.
