Mahavatar Narsimha Crosses Rs 175 Crore Worldwide; Hombale Films Reveal Global Box Office Collection Of ‘Divine Saga’
Mahavatar Narsimha, which opened to packed theatres on July 25, continues to attract audiences. The Ashwin Kumar’s animated mythological epic film has now crossed Rs 175 crore worldwide, adding a huge feat to its massive collection. The movie’s production house Hombale Films revealed the news on August 10, calling the performance “unstoppable.” With the blockbuster movie, the banner have managed to successfully create yet another cinematic universe, the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, following the success of its previous ones: Kantara, KGF Chapter 1 & 2 and Salaar Part 1: The Ceasefire.

Hombale Films tok to its social media and revealed the latest feat of Mahavatar Narsimha. Its caption read, “175 CRORES+ worldwide gross & counting…The divine saga of #MahavatarNarsimha is rewriting history at the box office. The roar is unstoppable… experience it in theatres now.”
About Mahavatar Narsimha
Mahavatar Narsimha is based on the fierce avatar of Lord Vishnu. The animated mythological drama has been written by Jayapurna Das. It is the first installment in the animated seven-part Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, based on ten avatars of Lord Vishnu.
Hombale Films and Kleem Productions have also officially unveiled the lineup for this ambitious animated franchise, which will span over a decade and chronicle the ten divine avatars of Lord Vishnu: Mahavatar Narsimha (2025), Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033), Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 (2035), and Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 (2037).
Mahavatar Narsimha first premiered at the International Film Festival Of India. While the movie remains a rage, reports recently started doing the rounds about its OTT release. However, its makers debunked the rumours through an official statement.
