Mahindra’s Powerol has been recognised as India’s leading diesel genset manufacturer in FY25
Mumbai: Mahindra’s Powerol Division has been recognised as India’s leading diesel genset manufacturer in 2024-25. The DG Tracker report released by Frost & Sullivan, placed Mahindra Powerol at top position by volume in the Indian genset market with a 23.8 per cent share.
Mahindra’s Powerol Division is a part of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. India’s diesel genset industry reported cumulative sales of 1,51,634 units in FY25. The company has commenced production of CPCB 4 + compliant engines for all range of products.
Mahindra’s Powerol Division’s Central Pollution Control Board IV+ (CPCB4+) compliant gensets helped the company achieved the growth rate. The particualtr gensets are manufactured keeping in view the requirements of the latest emission norms. In the Telecom sector, Mahindra Powerol hold more than 55 percent market share for the last 15 years.
Notably, the company also ventured into the competitive Retail segment, which helped in improving its performance.
