With a slew of SUVs ranging from the affordable compact category to the full-size one, Mahindra has managed to successfully covered all the bases. Mahindra Scorpio N pick-up truck: What is it?

Mahindra has been working on a pick-up truck and had showcased the Pik Up Concept in 2023 in South Africa. The production version of the pickup truck was spied in Nashik. The new vehicle is based on the Scorpio N and sports a new square-pattern front grille and a set of tail lamps that resemble the Scorpio Getaway’s. The rear lamps are halogen, but the production-ready model is expected to come with LED taillights. The pickup truck gets a shark antenna and an open boot space.

Based on the previous spy shots and the recent ones, the Scorpio N pick-up truck will be available in both single and double-cabin versions. The test mule was heavily clad, and the headlight appeared to be different from the Scorpio N.

According to the spy video, the pick-up truck’s cabin resembles the Tharx Roxx. The top variant of the pickup truck could offer features like a twin 10.25-inch display, one for the infotainment system and the other for the instrument cluster, a Type-C charging port, a 12V socket, rear parking sensors, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and log lamps. In terms of safety, as this vehicle is more focused on the global market, it should come with an advanced driver assistance system, airbags and a 4-wheel-drive system.

Mahindra Scorpio N pick-up truck: Engine options

The Scorpio N pick-up truck will be available in two engine options. The 2.0-litre petrol and the 2.2-litre diesel could be available in multiple power outputs, along with automatic and manual transmissions, and as mentioned earlier, it could get a part-time 4WD system.
