Maidenhead: Jazz night at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts

The Bruce Adams and Alex Garnett Quintet will be performing at the Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Friday, September 5, at 8pm.

With a varied career, Bruce Adams is a celebrated trumpet player known for his unique style, which blends elegance and energy.

His collaboration with Eclipse trumpets has further enriched his renowned tone, providing him with a trumpet, flugel, and cornet.

Mr Adams has played alongside many renowned musicians, becoming a regular in Alan Barnes’ Octet, and is a multiple British Jazz Awards winner, having been nominated more than 20 times.

His repertoire covers a vast range of jazz styles, from Louis Armstrong to contemporary pieces.

Known for his weekly jam session residency at Ronnie Scott’s, Mr Garnett has been instrumental in providing a platform for emerging talents.

A well-established figure on the London jazz scene, Mr Hutton has been performing for the past decade, collaborating with leading names like Jim Mullen and Pete King.

Having started playing the piano at the tender age of five, Mr Hutton shifted his focus entirely to jazz piano after completing his BA Hons degree in American Studies.

His talent was recognised by the late Ronnie Scott.

The performance is expected to be a memorable night, offering a blend of classic jazz tunes and some less frequently heard pieces.

With the combined talents of the trio, jazz enthusiasts will be in for a treat.
