Maldivian Businesses Invited to Exhibit at China’s 22nd International Agricultural Trade Fair.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs has announced an opportunity for Maldivian businesses to participate in the 22nd China International Agricultural Trade Fair (CATF), scheduled to be held from October 17 to 19, 2025, in Tianjin, China.

The Chinese government has extended invitations to Maldivian companies to exhibit and sell their products at the prestigious trade fair, which attracts participants from around the world. The event focuses on sectors including agriculture, seafood, fisheries, import/export, wholesale, and related industries.

According to the Ministry, the first eight Maldivian businesses to register will receive free booth fees and booth construction costs, courtesy of China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

CATF is one of Asia’s most prominent platforms for showcasing agricultural and fishery products, providing participants with an ideal opportunity to promote Maldivian goods, establish international trade partnerships, and explore new markets.

Interested businesses are required to submit their applications before 14:00 on Thursday, August 28, 2025, by completing the application form and emailing it to [email protected]

The Ministry highlighted that this opportunity will significantly contribute to promoting Maldivian agricultural and fishery exports and enhancing the country’s international trade presence.
