Man in court accused of stealing Gucci bag, Calvin Klein jacket and AirPods at Electric Picnic
A man has been remanded in custody for allegedly possessing stolen designer goods at the Electric Picnic.
Kenneth Kelly, 35, with an address at 22 O’Moore Place, Portlaoise appeared before Portlaoise District Court via videolink.
He is accused of possessing stolen goods at the Electric Picnic on September 2, 2023. The charges relate to a €500 Gucci bag, Calvin Klein and Northface jackets, Apple AirPods, cash, cigarettes and a rucksack.
Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby requested some time to get directions from the DPP in relation to the case.
Judge Andrew Cody remanded the defendant in custody and adjourned the case to Portlaoise District Court on September 21.
