Maruti Suzuki India has unveiled an exclusive limited-edition Grand Vitara ‘Phantom Blaq’ to mark the 10th anniversary of the NEXA channel.The exclusive edition features a matte black colour wrap in the Strong Hybrid Alpha+ variant with perforated faux leather upholstery and champagne gold accents. Maruti Suzuki launched NEXA in 2015 to bring a premium automotive retail experience to its discerning customers in India.
According to Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer of Marketing and Sales, the “Phantom Blaq” signifies rarity and luxury. It is a matte-finished vehicle with lavish interiors, bespoke alloy wheels, besides other “cool” features.

“If you look at the car, I think you will fall in love with it,” Banerjee told ANI.
He, in a way, teased prospective buyers to experience its premium appeal firsthand at their nearest NEXA showroom.
“So I would say only, please visit our NEXA showroom and experience the new Phantom Blaq,” he added in his conversation.
“As we celebrate a decade of NEXA, the Grand Vitara PHANTOM BLAQ Edition reflects our ongoing commitment to inspire customers with specially curated innovations. This Limited Edition captures the essence of indulgence, offering an SUV that not only performs exceptionally but also aligns perfectly with the refined lifestyles of our discerning buyers,” he said in a statement.
Since its launch, Grand Vitara has witnessed a record sales of 3 lakh units in just 32 months, setting a new benchmark in the mid-size SUV segment in India.
The Phantom Blaq Grand Vitara features an advanced 22.86cm (9″) SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system with seamless wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, complemented by a premium Clarion sound system for a refined listening experience.
Safety and convenience are further enhanced in the new model with a 360 view camera and Head-Up Display (HUD), while a wireless charging dock ensures effortless device charging.
Grand Vitara comes with 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP®), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Hill Hold Control, Reverse Parking Sensors, and 3-point seat belts with reminders, among other safety features.
