Meadowood Music & Half Moon Café’s “Next Level” Season with A-List Talent, Inclusive Listening Technology, and Online Ticketing

From Meadowood Music & Half Moon Café

Meadowood Music, producer of the popular Clay on Main Half Moon Concert Series, is proud to announce its most ambitious season to date. This fall, the series raises the bar with nationally recognized talent, enhanced accessibility through state-of-the-art listening-assist technology, and a new online ticketing system.

“We’re incredibly proud to bring a truly exceptional lineup of artists to our community this season,” said Mike Andrews, co-owner of Meadowood Music and co-producer of the Series. “After many years, we knew it was time to elevate the entire concert experience at Clay on Main. With nationally recognized artists on stage and a seamless ticketing process, we’re creating an unforgettable series for our dedicated fans and welcoming many new ones.”

Season Highlights

  • A-list talent: This season features top-tier performers, including Mark Cosgrove & Good Medicine and Craig Bickhardt. While the series continues to spotlight local performers, these acclaimed artists — who live within an hour of Berks County — add a new dimension to the lineup.
  • Digital convenience: For the first time, fans can purchase tickets in advance at meadowoodmusic.com/clay-on-main-concerts-half-moon, ensuring faster entry and guaranteed seating, replacing the former first-come, first-served model.
  • Enhanced experience: Upgraded sound technology, including a new listening-assist system, will make performances more inclusive for concertgoers with hearing impairments. Seating has also been reconfigured to increase capacity while maintaining comfort.
  • Union of music and art: Hosted at Clay on Main — a nonprofit art center and studio in the Oley Valley — the series continues to unfold in a working art studio and cooperative gallery featuring ceramics, paintings, textiles, glass, photography, and sculpture.

For more than 20 years, the Half Moon Concert Series has brought Berks County an eclectic mix of jazz, folk, bluegrass, classical, and original music in an intimate listening-room setting (six concerts in spring, six in fall). This year’s upgrades reflect a commitment to growth while preserving its roots: bringing community together through live, diverse, and accessible performances by local musicians.
