Mercedes-Benz India Partners with DPIIT to Support Startups

New Delhi, Mar 7 (KNN) Luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) to support Indian startups with mentorship, funding access, and international market opportunities.

In a statement, Mercedes-Benz India said the collaboration aims to foster innovation, sustainability, and societal development within the country’s startup ecosystem.

The initiative will focus on promoting advancements in road safety, environmental sustainability, and broader societal impact, aligning with India’s long-term development goals.

As per the MoU, Mercedes-Benz India will work closely with DPIIT to provide infrastructure, mentorship, and market linkages to startups. DPIIT, through the Startup India initiative, will enhance the program’s reach and visibility, ensuring broader participation and impact.

This collaboration is expected to accelerate the growth of product startups, innovators, and entrepreneurs, providing them with resources to scale their innovations both nationally and globally.
