Meta India chief Sandhya Devanathan’s role expanded to include Southeast Asia, ET BrandEquity

Sandhya Devanathan, Meta ChiefMeta Technologies has expanded the role of its India vice president, Sandhya Devanathan, who will hereafter also lead the tech giant’s Southeast Asia business. The development was announced by Meta’s Asia Pacific head, Dan Neary.
“Both Ben and Sandhya are exceptional leaders with strong track records. I’m confident that they will continue to drive growth and innovation for our valued partners and take our business to new heights,” the post read.
Devanathan joined Meta in 2016 as group director of Southeast Asia for ecommerce, travel and finserv. Through her stint, she has held many important positions, including country head for Singapore, business head of Vietnam, and vice president of gaming for the Asia Pacific region.She replaced Ajit Mohan as vice president and managing director of Meta India in November 2022.
Joe started his journey at Meta in new business development with the growth team in the US and was previously country director for Korea. Before that, he was at McKinsey & Company and IBM.
