MG Motor’s ad celebrates Ganpati’s homecoming in a big way, ETBrandEquity

The film shows a family at an MG showroom exploring a new car. While the parents focus on its features, their young son is fascinated by the boot space and the film ends with the family driving home in their new MG Windsor, with Ganpati comfortably seated in the spacious boot. The ad highlights how the car becomes part of the family’s festive celebrations.
Produced by Punctuate Productions, the campaign highlighted how a car becomes more than just transportation, it becomes part of the Ganesh Chaturthi ritual.The film tapped into a relatable insight for Indian families that the car chosen during this season isn’t just for travel, it becomes part of cherished memories and traditions.
Released just before the festival, it strengthens MG’s emotional bond with audiences while celebrating tradition.
