MIFER Union Minister receives UN delegation

Union Minister Dr Wah Wah Maung meets WFP Representative and Country Director, UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator ad interim Mr Michael John Dunford in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Dr Wah Wah Maung, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, received a delegation led by Mr Michael John Dunford, United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator ad interim and WFP Representative and Country Director, Myanmar, yesterday morning at Office 1 of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.
They exchanged views on existing cooperation programmes for the socioeconomic development and humanitarian assistance of UN Agencies in Myanmar and discussed how to make more effective aid management, as well as plans for continued cooperation.
The meeting was attended by the directors-general and senior officials from the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and representatives from the UNRCO office in Myanmar. — MIFER
