Minister Davit Songulashvili Attends UN Ocean Conference in Nice – Economy
The Minister of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia, Davit Songulashvili, is on a working visit to Nice, France, where he will participate in the United Nations Conference on “Conservation and Sustainable Use of the Oceans, Seas and Marine Resources for Sustainable Development.”
The conference brings together leaders from over 100 countries, including ministers of environment and other high-ranking officials. Key topics of discussion include reducing marine pollution, restoring ocean ecosystems, and protecting marine biodiversity. Special emphasis will be placed on the impact of climate change on marine environments and the development of global strategies to address these challenges.
Minister Songulashvili is accompanied by First Deputy Minister Nino Tandilashvili.
