LAHORE: Modern computer education played a crucial role in human development, making the world feel like a global village. With this technical knowledge, skilled individuals have reached the moon and stars. From earthquake predictions to early warnings of cyclones, computerised systems are continuously introducing new innovations for human betterment.
These thoughts were expressed by veteran labour leader and Chairman of the Bukhtiar Memorial Free Computer Education Centre Khurshid Ahmad, during a certificate distribution ceremony for students who completed a six-month diploma course.
Khurshid shared that free computer education is being regularly provided to the children of Wapda and electricity department employees across all four provinces. So far, hundreds of students have benefited and secured employment, enabling low-income families to equip their children with modern education and better job prospects.
On the occasion, speakers also addressed the recent open aggression by India against Pakistan, praising the Pakistan Armed Forces for their swift and effective response under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir. Within just four hours, they compelled India to retreat and agree to a ceasefire. Workers across Pakistan congratulated the armed forces and expressed their readiness to defend the nation at all times. Students of the Computer Centre also paid tribute to the Pakistan armed forces by singing the national anthem.
