Montgomery Group, global exhibition organiser, has announced the appointment of Sanjeev Khaira as chief growth officer. Celebrating its 130th anniversary this year, the appointment to its leadership team continues Montgomery’s ambitious phase of growth.
Khaira brings strong experience in strategic leadership and business development within the global events industry. Khaira has previously led several high growth businesses in the UK and overseas including establishing and rapidly scaling divisions at UBM/Informa’s operations in India and Turkey. He also possesses expertise in mergers and acquisitions, with experience including a role as managing director of M&A for UBM EMEA.
More recent roles include being a founding member of Arc Network, a B2B events platform, where he played an integral part in building a $100m revenue business in two years. Khaira’s latest role was as director of business development at Capital Events. During his time at Capital Events, he contributed to driving growth through organic launches, joint ventures and driving best practice across the business.
