Dick’s Sporting Goods is reportedly in advanced discussions to acquire Foot Locker in a deal worth $2.3 billion, according to The Wall Street Journal. The potential merger would give Dick’s a significant international footprint and greater negotiating power with top athletic brands like Nike and Adidas.

Factories in China that produce Halloween goods are ramping back up after a delay in U.S. tariffs. The 145% tariff had previously halted production, making items too expensive to sell. LugLess has released findings from its 2025 travel survey, revealing key trends for the summer travel season. 87 percent of respondents plan to fly this year. 45 percent say they’ll fly more than they did in 2024, and 58 percent are interested in using luggage shipping services. Despite rising travel costs, many still prefer checking bags at the airport—69 percent say they always or occasionally do. Cleanliness is also top of mind: 53 percent clean their luggage after every use, and nearly 30 percent do so occasionally.
