Mumbai airport: Data network outage disrupts operations; Air India, other airlines face flight delays – Airlines/Aviation News
Flight operations at Mumbai Airport were disrupted after a third-party data network outage hit the check-in systems, delaying departures for several airlines, including Air India.
In a post on X, Air India said, “A third-party data network outage had impacted check-in systems at Mumbai airport, thereby delaying flight departures of airlines, including Air India. The systems have since been restored, however, some of our flights may continue to be affected for some time as the situation normalises progressively.”
The airline has advised passengers to check the latest flight schedules via the Air India website, mobile app or airport information desks before travelling. Passengers should arrive at the airport early to allow additional time for security checks and check-in procedures.
