Nani’s film shocks the trade, grosses Rs 82 crore in record time

HIT 3 is a smash hit, and there is no denying that. How the film performs at the box office has shocked trade experts. In just two days of its release, the suspense thriller has grossed ₹62 crore. This shows that the Krishnarjuna Yuddham star is in top form, and his craze has reached the next level.

As per the latest update, HIT 3 made an even better number on day three, raking in ₹22 crore net. With this, the film’s total gross stands at ₹82 crore, a massive figure. No other top hero film has managed to do that in recent times. This is an eye-opener for many, and Nani is no longer a Tier 2 star; he has cemented his place in the top bracket.

Sailesh Kolanu, who last directed Saindhav with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam star Venkatesh, is also back in the game and has proved himself yet again. Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead in the film, which also marks the Hindi debut of Mulk fame Prateik Babbar. He played the role of a psycho killer, and his performance is being lauded.

Nani creates a unique record in US collections

Nani is currently in the US as HIT 3 continues its successful run. He was in Dallas recently and will now visit other locations to promote the film further. So far, HIT 3 has grossed just over 2 million USD, making it Nani’s 11th film to cross the 1 million dollar mark in the US. No other star, except Athadu fame Mahesh Babu, has achieved this feat.

Back in India, the collections have not been as strong. Compared to the Telugu states, occupancy has been slightly better in Tamil Nadu. In the days to come, the makers are planning a massive event in Hyderabad to celebrate the film’s success.
